About WSC LRC

The pleasant environment, a well-furnished reading area, and learning resources make the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) at World Skill Center (WSC) an attraction among the students and staff. The LRC, well-stocked with the latest collection of books, journals, magazines, and other resources, caters to the needs of the entire WSC community. The LRC has a discussion room, AV room, Thesis room, and Magazine section. Integrated Library Management System KOHA enabled with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Self-check-in and check-out, smart card, smart attendance, RFID security gate, OPAC Kiosk, Cyber Library – are some of the key features. Students and staff can search for books through the LRC website and mobile applications. They also use it for services such as book renewal and reservation. The LRC also houses self-learning packages on respective schools and life-skill modules for students to practice their competencies via virtual and augmented reality platforms.
